The loser of this turf war, has to clean the dishes next week!

Playing skirmish games is a lot of fun, but keeping up with all the different models and their specific rules can get a little overwhelming at times. In my last game of Blood Bowl, my clever opponent was using hair ties that he got from his daughters, to mark which one of his guys were the ones with different skills. This was brilliant, because I have at least a million of these under my couch back at the house. I had spent a few weeks trying to find something to mark the base for my different players, and everything was bringing me back to 3d printing. Which I’m not opposed, that’s just another project for another division, that I still am working on assembling. Traveling for work makes the printing a challenge, and I feel like the resin printing is a headache that I need someone to volunteer for, instead of asking.

After we played, I took my daughter to hobby lobby to walk around and find fun projects we can work on at the house. I found these awesome rubber band looms, they were 3 bucks and I think they will last a few weeks for playing. I opted for the ones with the white rings, they had solid colors, which I think I will pick up as well. I think one for marking characters, and one for marking conditions would be a wonderful way to keep track of your games.

I’m excited to show up to my next Skirmish or Blood Bowl match so I can show off these awesome rubber bands! Thanks for reading and checking out the blog! What have you used in the past to mark your different units? Join the discussion and leave a comment below! Stay Classy Wargamers!
