I didn’t even realize that this had dropped, and now I am on the look out for the Barbatos box as well! I was excited to see this at Just Roll It, a game store in Spring Hill Tn! I picked it up thinking I was about to score another Clan deck and I could work on building a Clan deck while on the road, however it was just a bunch of alt art cards, and a special Ex-Resource. Which is all still a plus, because now I have three more Gundams to get painted up for the October release of Gundam Assemble!

Everything you need to assemble your gundams, super glue, accelerant, cutters, knife and caffine! I threw the directions out in typical scrub fashion! Luckily the internet exist and you can find build instructions with a quick google search. I could have links here if that would be something people would find useful!

This picture is what they all look like when they are built and grey. I added the cards in the back so that I could have an easier time remembering what the name of these gundams are. I feel like I have spent the past few months in the Gundam realm and I can’t really remember all the names of all the different ones out there. I think that is okay, I’m jumping into all of the universes at one time, and making tons of friends along the way. The next step here is to prime them up, and get them painted. I did not glue the modles to the bases, as when the game comes out I think that is an opportunity to have different bases, and then you can coordinate the bases for your group of gundams! Or you could just get some rubber bands!
That’s all for this post! Look forward for another post tomorrow, there is no telling what realm of game it will be about, or perhaps I might write a self reflection post. Either way, I am inspired to blog, and I am going to do my best to stay ahead of articles. At the end of the day, I think I finally got to the bottom of why I wasn’t posting. Travelling has broken a lot of habits that I have had for a very long time, and some that you wouldn’t even realize unless you had a shake up in your life. When I would sit down to paint after everything wound down at the end of the day, I would just paint. This was usually about 4-5 hours of painting, just going to town on all the models that I love painting. I have been under a tremendous amount of stress for a very long time, and I believe that is trying to be so helpful to everyone all the time. It’s how I was raised and I’m not saying I want to change, but if I’m burning both ends of my candle stick. Then my time is going to be more limited, painting and playing music are how I recharge my candle stick.
Working at the Can factory and learning robotics on the fly is probably my proudest achievement in my work career so far. However I was so stressed out I resorted to playing my guitar in my car on my breaks and lunch breaks. I just get lost and I can really think about my problems, come up with a new plan and that helps. In manufacturing, one problem solved usually creates more problems, as that problem was a band-aid over another problem. So between all the songs I’ve never written down, and all the progression of my painting are all in my mind, I feel a sense of shame that I didn’t capture that to share and get feed back. Life is too short to get stuck in loops, you just have to do what makes you happy and shrug everything else off. It will all work out in the end, if you just let things be, you wouldn’t have the opportunity to be upset about failing re-roll. Life is like dice, and sometimes dice are dice. Cheer for every good roll, for everyone present, every time. When the dice aren’t going someone’s way, try be a pal, you can’t say anything that will make it right, but just let them know that you’re there to listen but you don’t have your rain jacket. I will actually end it on this, I have been playing 40k for over 25 years and I feel I am vetted in multiple communities that I am the worlds best 1s and 2s roller! So here is to the dream of the next 25 years of being the worlds best any other side of the dice roller! Stay classy gamers
