Work in progress:
Mantic’s Terrain Crate: City Edtion was an abosulte blast to put together and paint up, it really made the table feel like an old brick town!

Here is our last game we played, this was a lot of terrain but this was so much fun to navigate through, and to finally play a game with this much terrain was something I have wanted to do since I was a kid.

I think he was about half way at this point and I had asked him if he thought there was enough terrain, and he said “There is more terrain in the box” so we kept going! This was all the Necromunda terrain that we normally carry with us up to Current Cafe in Decatur on Sundays for our weekly Scrubsdays!

Here is the other angle of the field, I really liked how Cody spent the time to get a secondary level so we could move up top. Now that we have put all the terrain on the table, and trust me we are working on more! I think it would be very interesting if you could have the first ground floor be a maze and then the top levels have their own paths to navigate around. We are going to have to find some ways to make some walk ways, but first we have to get Current Cafe ready for tournaments! So we are working with the store on making five tables worth of terrain for both 40k and AOS, so that they can allow Scrubs to start helping stores run tournaments!
If you have a smaller store and are looking to start running tournaments then everything I am learning I would love to offer you as advice or information. If you have any questions feel free to reach out, since now that I have a store that is depending on our services, now is the call to arms! We are looking to build terrain diy style, and post it here and hopefully what you see, you can replicate at your own store on your own scrubdays! We are just looking for opportunities to welcome new players to the game, and welcome new stores to hosting tournaments. It’s a lot for one person to take on, but when you have a community you can achieve more. I travel around and play with a wide variety of players, and I love the store owners I meet, now with a bigger space in Decatur I can finally welcome all my friends to my neck of the woods to play some games with us!
Make sure you join us on the discord and look around on the site. Thank you everyone for sticking along and hanging in there, but finally we might be actually putting some good into the real world, and not just the digital world. Stay extra classy wargamers.
That’s a great looking table. Best of luck drumming up some in-person gaming!
